"Sarah" by Marek Halter is a book of Biblical times written along the same lines as "The Red Tent".
The book begins with Sarah, at the end of her life. telling about the dreams she has. She believes that they are sent by Abraham's Yhwh(God). The book then continues with the story of her life when at the age of 12 she had balked at her marriage and had run away. After meeting Abram, she is returned to her father's lordly way of life for a time. Follow her story from living an exotic life as being a high priestess to that of nomads living off the land.
